Jose Teaching Perspectives in Atlanta at Iglesia Nueva Horizonte

Alex Williams, my Uber Driver, from Liberia Becomes a Follower of Jesus

God is amazing and has a perfect plan for everyone. When I got to Atlanta from Louisville, my host, Josselin, asked me if I could take an Uber to the church and meet her there. When I requested for the UBer it cost almost $70. So I thought that it was cheaper to rent a car from national for $35 with my business account. I made the reservation and headed towards the counter to get the car. I had to take the train to get there. While waiting for the train, I feel that God is leading me to take the Uber. I hesitated for a few minutes. Then, understood that I needed to be obedient.

I ordered the taxi and Alex Wiliams picked me up. We got to talk about his wife and then the Lord. Soon, Alex tells me that he wants to have a love relationship with God through His Son Jesus. We prayed and he tells me that this is one of the best ride he has. He was overjoyous. WE exchanged phones and took the above picture. Please pray for Alex as he gets connected to a local church and gets disciples

This is the class picture after I taught lesson #12. The class is beautiful. Pray that many laborers will rise up from this class. Pray that a strong Perspectivas team will come from this class to help with the next class. Pray for Josselin, Exodus and their three beautiful daughter. I got the joy of staying with Pastor Alex. Pray for him and his church as they are embracing the kingdom and mobilizing their people for harvest.

This is part of Josselin’s team. We had dinner together the night before I was teaching. Pray for them.

Above is Lucia Brenes, Josselin, Rebeka and Pastor Alex. Lucia works with me at Eden Global Solutions and was in Atlanta caring for her Aunt Tatiana who had a liver transplant. Pray for Tatiana full recovery and for Lucia as she move the kingdom forward at EGS with me.

Rebeka is the Perspectives regional director. She is a fantastic leader. Pray for her as she serve the Perspectivas class and establishes partnership with the First Baptist at Woodstock church to hold an English Perspectives class next year.

Pray for Pastor Alex and his church. He is an outstanding leader who is implementing all he learned at the Perspectives course. His story is amazing and how God is growing his church and the kingdom through his vision to reach the nations.

Axely Anahí Uceta Sánchez is Adjusting Well

Axely with Maria, Albaneli, Marianny, Alba and Luz

Welcome to our latest blog post, where we're thrilled to share an update on Axely Anahí Uceta Sánchez's journey with Breath of Life International University Ministry in Santiago.

Thanks to your prayers and support, Axely is not just adjusting – she's thriving! From the moment she stepped onto the Breath of Life International house, she's been enveloped in care by fellow students who have welcomed and nurtured her every step of the way. Weare proud of our ladies who are modeling the love of Jesus to her.

Navigating through classes can often be daunting, especially in a new environment, but Axely has seamlessly integrated herself into her studies, proving her resilience and determination.

What's truly heartwarming is seeing how she's embracing academic challenges and immersing herself in the Breath of Life ministry, growing in the Lord with grace and enthusiasm. Her willingness to engage and contribute speaks volumes about her character and passion for service.

As Axely continues to settle into university life and her role within the ministry, we ask for your continued prayers and support. Your encouragement has been instrumental in her journey thus far, and we're excited to witness the incredible things she'll accomplish with your continued support. Thank you for being a vital part of Axely's story and the Breath of Life community.

Congratulate Marianny for Graduating as Psychologist

In our previous post, we shared the news that Kiovel had graduated. We are equally delighted to inform you that Marianni Florencia Ferreras graduated last month as a psychologist. Marianni originally hails from Neiba and has overcome great obstacles to reach this milestone in her life. With the help of Breath of Life and the team that God provided her, she has not only achieved this professional victory but also found salvation through the cross of Jesus - both in this life and eternally. Marianni wanted to express her gratitude with the following words:

"Today, as I pen these words, my heart brims with gratitude, with the highest praise directed towards the Almighty for His unwavering guidance along my journey. In this moment of reflection, I am compelled to extend my deepest appreciation, particularly to Breath of Life International, whose steadfast support has transformed their institution into a sanctuary, a place I now gratefully call home.

To José Martínez, whose tireless dedication has been a beacon of inspiration, and to Henry Montero, whose belief in me opened doors I never thought possible, I offer heartfelt thanks. I am equally indebted to Doña Maria Mejia, whose wisdom and nurturing spirit have left an indelible mark on my soul.

Yet, my gratitude extends beyond individuals to encompass the collective support of mentors and leaders, each contributing to my growth and development. Among them, my mentor, Ycelsa Celestino, stands out for her unwavering commitment and profound impact on my spiritual and personal journey.

To my Breath of Life siblings, both sisters and brothers alike, your solidarity and companionship have been a source of strength and comfort. Each interaction, each shared moment, has enriched my life in ways I cannot adequately express.

And to my beloved parents, whose love knows no bounds, and to God, whose divine grace has illuminated my path, I owe everything. It is through your guidance, your sacrifices, and your unwavering support that I stand where I am today, filled with gratitude and humility.

In closing, I offer my heartfelt thanks to all who have touched my life, shaping me into the person I am today. May our collective journey continue to be marked by love, compassion, and boundless gratitude." (Marianni)

Please continue to pray for Marianni as she finds a job and continue to serve Christ. She is now taking a leadership role in organizing this summer short-term trips. She would like to work for Breath of Life fulltime working with our students and community development. Please pray that God will lead this path and provide what it is needed for her to take on this role or another job.

Once again, we join Marianni in thanking God and each you from the bottom of our hearts for investing in Breath of Life and making it possible for these students to obtain a professional, received the gospel, become disciple makers and leaders and impact their communities and moving the kingdom of God forward. Your giving of your time, talent and treasures in Breath of Life is transforming lives and communities. The cross of Jesus makes all of the difference.
